Unbraced Snapping
We've had this in two British Bending Championships and is a great finisher, and demonstration of endurance strength, and is also a great crowd pleaser. The usual unbraced rules apply, except you obviously have to bend the bar backwards. You keep going back and forth till the bar snaps. You can have some normal insulating tape on your thumbs to stop the heat of the nail/bar burning them. Time limit is 10 minutes.

Braced Snapping
The usual Braced rules apply, except you obviously have to bend the bar backwards. You keep going back and forth till the bar snaps. Time limit is 10 minutes.
The bar used for the contest and challenge levels will be a Hot Rolled Steel round bar.
You can use leather wraps for hand protection, and a towel for leg protection. You can strap the towel to your leg with a knee wrap so that the towel stays in place.
